2018-19 Homeschool Project: Helping Animals at the Maryland SPCA!
Say "hello" to the adorable stuffed Rottweiler who will be our adopted class companion this semester! Our class will be collaborating with the Maryland SPCA, and taking part in its Humane Education Program. This program offers us the opportunity to have a guest speaker visit from the SPCA, to read books about animal
shelters donated to our class, to complete SPCA educational activities, and to care for our fuzzy class friend (who also needs a name). For our service learning work, we will design and implement one or more projects that help animals at the Maryland SPCA.
